The second season of the Summer Interview Series examines creationism. For the last two episodes of the series, Brian Chilton and Curtis Evelo interview Bellator Christi contributor Jerry Bogacz. Jerry is PhD Candidate in the Theology and Apologetics program at Liberty University, a two-time Biola graduate, and a retired biologist. On the final episode of the Summer Interview Series, Jerry discusses the the image of God, the human soul, and substance dualism.

  1. From your research on the image of God in humanity, what would you say it is that makes human beings human?
  2. What is the image of God (i.e., Imagio Dei) in humankind?
  3. You have researched substance dualism and the soul with the likes of Dr. J. P. Moreland. For those who may not know, what is substance dualism?
  4. Do we have evidence that the conscious soul is separate from the human body?
  5. What areas of research are important for biologists, or creationists in general, to explore to argue for creationism in the future?
