(Podcast 7.25.19) Keeping Your Faith in Christ Even When You’ve Been Hurt by the Church (w. Melissa Pellew)

Melissa Pellew

It is estimated that one of the leading causes of atheism is hurt that has been experienced in the church. Even among Christians, the hurt experienced in congregational life has led believers away from active participation in church-related activities, even to the point of abstaining from church entirely. How do Christians distinguish between the objective truths of Christianity and the pain they experience at the hands of fellow believers? Today, we are joined by Melissa Pellew. Melissa Pellew, along with her husband Devin, is the Ratio Christi Chapter Director of Winthrop University and York Technical College. Melissa discusses the pain that she has experienced by fellow believers, and what has kept her strong in her faith despite the hurts afflicted upon her.
