(Podcast) 3 Things that Hinder a Person’s Prayers

Prayergraphic

Prayer is critical for the believer. It is the means by which an individual communicates with God. But have you ever felt that your prayers go unanswered? While God answers in his own time and according to his will, a person needs to examine oneself to ensure that nothing is hindering the person’s prayers. God tells us in the Scriptures of at least three ways a person may hinder their prayers.

1. Prayers are hindered if a person asks with the wrong motive (for selfish means and not according to the will of God).

2. Prayers are hindered if a person is living rebelliously.

3. Prayers are hindered if a person is mistreating others.

There are other ways a person’s prayers may be hindered, such as doubt, but these are the 3 most generalized ways prayers are ineffective. Pastor Brian will describe these three hindrances on today’s podcast.

Also, Brian discusses the bizarre comments made by Johnny Depp concerning President Trump as well as Guidestar’s devaluation of many conservative Christian groups to be hate groups. For this and much more, join us for the June 25th edition of The Bellator Christi Podcast.
