(SIS S1 E01) Reason Rocks (w. Kevin Harris)

Kevin Harris

By: Brian G. Chilton, Curtis Evelo, and Kevin Harris | June 20, 2021

We begin a new series through the summer of 2021 where we interview numerous scholars and experts in their chosen field. We call it the “Summer Interview Series.” On today’s podcast, Curtis and Brian are joined by Kevin Harris of Reasonable Faith. Kevin recently launched a new ministry called “Reason Rocks.” He has worked in radio since he was 15-years-old. In addition to speaking about his new ministry, Kevin speaks about his favorite moments on the Reasonable Faith Podcast with Dr. William Lane Craig, addresses the seeming trend of Christian musicians leaving the faith, and how Christians can interact with the culture. He emphasizes the importance of having a firm foundation and how the foundation of his faith helped him with the loss of his son. This is a podcast that you will not want to miss and one that you will not soon forget!

  1. Can you tell us about how you came to know the Lord?
  2. You are the producer of the Reasonable Faith Podcast with Dr. William Lane Craig. What are some of your favorite moments with Dr. Craig on the podcast?
  3. What are some of the most pressing theological issues being sent to Reasonable Faith that you and Dr. Craig handle?
  4. As a musician yourself, what do you make of the current trend of Christian musicians leaving the faith, or, as in the case of Kevin Max, deconstructing their faith?
  5. How can the modern Christian positively impact culture whether it is through music or otherwise?
  6. You have a new ministry called Reason Rocks. What is this ministry about?
  7. Do you have any words of encouragement for believers and for future Christian artists who hope to make an impact?
