(Podcast 3.25.20) How the History of the Church Impacts our Modern Interpretations (Part 1)

Church History

The term perennialism is important in historical studies as well as understanding our modern culture. Perennialism is the idea that a person needs to understand the past in order to understand the present and the future. On the first of a four-part series, Brian Chilton and Curtis Evelo discuss the history of the Church, how our past impacts our present interpretations, and what it may mean for our future. In the first episode, we cover the history and controversies of the Christian Church from its origins to the time of the Protestant Reformation.
