(Podcast 11.15.19) MacArthur, Moore, and Mean-Spiritedness

John Macarthur Beth Moore

At a recent conference, John MacArthur, a notable speaker and author, dismissively told Beth Moore, another popular speaker and author, that she should go home. MacArthur represents the strong complementarian viewpoint, whereas Moore holds to an egalitarian position. In this podcast, Brian Chilton breaks down the four positions on the debate of women in ministry (strong complementarian, mild complementarian, mild egalitarian, and strong egalitarian) and advocates that no matter what position one holds, the Christian’s disposition and attitude must be one full of love and grace rather than driven by mocking and scorn.
