In John 1:40, Andrew is reported to have been one of two disciples who heard John the Baptist and started to follow Jesus. Andrew, in verse 41, finds his brother Simon Peter and encourages him to follow Jesus, as well. But, who was the other disciple who originally left John the Baptist to follow Jesus? In this podcast, Brian Chilton describes how this other disciple may give us further clues as to the identity of the Fourth Gospel’s author.
