In this second of a two-part series, we discuss moral apologetics with Drs. David and Marybeth Baggett, professors at Liberty University and authors of the book The Morals of the Story: Good News about a Good God. This podcast will conclude our conversation as we discuss the following:
-Marybeth’s description on how literary examples fit within the apologetic endeavor;
-David’s thoughts on the Euthyphro Dilemma;
-the nature of abductive inferences;
-the relevance of moral obligations to the moral argument;
-meaning of moral faith and why it’s relevant to the moral argument;
-and Marybeth’s envisioning of the readers of their book and her hope for them (zombies excluded).
I would again like to thank Drs. David and Marybeth Baggett for coming on the podcast. They are delightful and super-intelligent people.
