On this edition of the Bellator Christi Podcast, Brian Chilton answers five questions he is frequently asked about the Molinist theological system. The questions include:
- What is Molinism? (Who is Luis de Molina? What is the ROSES acronym? What are the three moments of God’s knowledge?)
- Does a Molinist have to believe in possible worlds? (Description of the possible worlds illustration and of the more important matter of God’s knowledge of factuals and counterfactuals.)
- Does middle knowledge restrict God’s sovereignty?
- Does Molinism account for the suffering in the world according to God’s sovereignty?
- Does Molinism require its adherents to be Catholic since Molina was a Jesuit priest?
