Review of “The Grand Weaver”

The Grand Weaver

Zacharias, Ravi. The Grand Weaver: How God Shapes Us Through the Events of Our Lives. Grand Rapids: Zondervan, 2007. $15.99. 200 pages.

Zacharias’s book “The Grand Weaver” is exceptional, perhaps one of his best. In this book, Zacharias describes how God weaves together the events of one’s life as he leads a person to one’s eternal home. The journey matters. Zacharias argues that a person’s DNA, disappointments, calling, morality, spirituality, will, worship, and destiny all construct the person’s imprint upon history. Using numerous memorable illustrations, Zacharias ties these themes together as he weaves together the Grand Weaver’s plan. The Grand Weaver is a must-read for anyone desiring to know how God fulfills Romans 8:28 in each believer’s life. 5 stars all the way!
