Over the course of the past nearly two months, we have been investigating the core fundamental claims of orthodox Christianity. Thus far, we have noted that Christianity holds:
1) God is exclusive, eternal, transcendent (beyond creation), and personal (working within creation).
2) Jesus is 100% God and 100% human in his identity.
3) Jesus’ incarnation was essential to allow for the atonement.
4) Jesus literally and physically rose from the dead on the first Easter Sunday.
5) The One God is made up of three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
6) The Gospel tells us that Christ died to save people from their sins and is rooted in God’s love.
7) Jesus will return and gather his people to himself.
Today we will discuss the fundamentals of eternity. The Bible tells us that there is a heaven and a hell. But what can we know about these two eternal places? Join us today to find out.
